Swapna Behera born on 1955 is a trilingual contemporary poet, author ,educationist, critic, translator, reviewer, a social worker, environmentalist and editor from Odisha, India. Her stories, poems and articles are widely published in Newspapers, International journals, magazines Anthologies and ezines and translated in different languages .

Swapna Behera is a former teacher for more than three decades i .e at the Mont Fort School from 1984-1995 and a teacher in Kendriya Vidyalayas, from 1995-2015 under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan ,an Autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. She has received several outstanding recognitions for teaching excellence…

She is a post graduate in History with a Bachelor’s degree in Education.(M.A.BED) .

She was a trained teacher in substance Abuse Prevention Education from Shalom Rehabilitation Centre Chumkedima Nagaland 2001.

She is a trained teacher and participated in the workshop of School Audio Visual Script writing ,by School Audio Project 1991,sponsored by Ministry of Human Resource Development .

She believes every child is an angel on the Earth and we have to protect the Nature for these angels on the Earth…
